Yes and you can do it all without moving in one spot. Thats called a better system. Why do all those steps then have to move around a bunch of times to get each item when you can just get everything you want in one trip. Nice try though with trying to act like what you posted is anywhere near as annoying as the market wards.

Depends on your implementation of the Auction House. It doesn't have to be like the FFXI one where you have to blindly bid on things. You can have it show the lowest price(s) on whatever item you're bidding on.

You can have an AH set up as follows::
Weapons
-Types of Weapons
--Sortable list of a type of weapon
---Buy
---Price history
Repeat for each category
Showing the lowest price(s) in the buy menu and the last prices in the price history menu

No, that is a WoW and Rift Auction House system. In Final Fantasy XI all you had to do was look at the price history and it would give you an idea of what to bid at. If you bid at or higher than asking then you win. There is a bid and if not accepted then bid again until you win, but there is no waiting in between.

Actually, WoW was more like:

Type in item name
Click "Buyout" on the cheapest one
Confirm
Run to mailbox
Click on the mail for that particular auction
Take the attachment
Equip the gear/use the item to do whatever. . .

Granted, with mods (which most players used) it looked more like this:

Shift-right-click the cheapest one
Run to the mailbox
Click the button to take all the attachments in your mailbox
Equip/use item

. . . which is closer to how I'd like this game to look, honestly. Remember, very few people ever actually bid on a regular basis in WoW, and very few people are actually asking for an AH with a bidding system here, either.
