I posted new updated in my thread on the bottom of the OP with a new out of box approach; while I haven't had the chance to test it on 1436, I will. It may either explode in my face and end in tears, or it could be really promising. I'd love for you other uber crafters to take a look, I'll update once I finished spending the excessive amount of hours to gather mats to try again.

I'm testing other methods where I can, I wanted to use that rotation and had 430 CP figuring that I could just add 1 ToT but it's pretty tight, I was still able to HQ my Hidemaster's Gloves using my original rotation

adding another hasty touch to Rath's sequence

requires 405 base CP, 718 Crafts, 695 Control, Seafood Stew and 2 Tricks

if your Crafts rating is at or just over the minimum required to attempt the recipe then you must hit at least 8 successful FT out of 11 chances. as gear improves over the course of some upgrades and the same CS2/ING2 reaches 183 then you will only need 7 successful FT out of 11 chances.

two ToT are needed to complete this sequence. you can take your first at any point between MaMa and WN2. a little risky to take a second ToT under stacks of MaMa unless you have already reached 8 successful FT or know that your CS2/ING2 will land for 183+.

be careful not to refresh CZ under stacks of WN2

    Code:
    	455CP (405+Stew)
    MaMa	-20
    CZ	-66
    SH	-14
    PbP	-7
    PbP	-7
    FTx11	+56
    CZ	-66
    IQ	-10
    SH2	-17
    WN2	-90
    HTx4	+32
    SH2	-17
    HTx3	+16
    CZ	-66
    HTx1	+8
    MM2	-152
    SH2	-17
    HTx2	+16
    SH2	-17
    HTx1	+8
    ING2	-24
    HTx1	+8
    GS	-24
    BB	-24
    CS2x2
    	-39 (sequence requires 2x ToT)

    (sequence requires 2x ToT)
This also requires 11 CC skills with ToT, so you must have at least one of them on your current class.

Also to note. It requires 405 CP pre-food + HQ seafood stew+ 2 ToT. It wold probably just be easier to get high enough craft to drop 1 cs2 from my rotation and not rely on any ToT and max-melded CP to get that 12 HT.

the sequence uses a CC skills from all 8 doh. so the sequence is usable by all doh.

i am at a baseline 405 CP, 735 crafts, 695 control on all my DoH.
i'm not looking for easier. i'm looking for the best results. that's why anyone has participated in this thread. your sequence is good for most anyone with the minimum stats and thats great, but i'm aiming to do the best with what i have.

it is fairly safe to assume there will be two tricks in this 42 step sequence. just banking on 8/11 FT is likely a greater risk than counting on 2 tricks.

your suggestion to trade a CS2 for HT is actually a suggestion to trade a CS2 for a 50% chance HT. not an attractive option in my opinion. but its not a good suggestion for another reason:

to drop 1 CS2 from your rotation requires either
    • 11 successful FT and 103 progress on CS2 or
    • 10 successful FT and 123 progress on CS2.
    both are impractical for now.

my variation provides one more 80% HT, puts BB under ING2, and requires one less successful FT.

this sequence isn't for everyone. it does require the best food. anyone embarking on 2-star crafts should have no problem supplying themselves with a 1-star food.

this sequence does require all available melded CP. its not for everyone.

there are problems with that sequence. it would break the combine. there are issues with using two waste not abilities in the same sequence. its doable if at least one of those is waste not I and all four stacks of that waste not I are used on a touch or synthesis action. or if you're willing to accept several 50%HTs. (can't use any non-touch/synth actions under one of the WN2 else better off with a mm1/mani) also left out IQ.

i'm still hunting for better sequences. currently looking at something done with MM2 and MM1 or Manipulation with a single Standard Synth at the end. would require 246 progress on Standard Synth/ING2 which corresponds to enough crafts to do a 197 progress CS2/ING2. have to hit 10xFS so probably would want to skip the initial CZ for 12 chances. maybe new offhand with soup gets one there. will have to test. what i like is while it also offers 12x80%HT and GS/ING2 for the BB, you're able to take a Trick just about any time you want. three tricks needed in total.

Rath, your rotation worked wonders. After having practiced on the ingots, I was able to knock this bad boy out.
