Having lag problems after 7 pm

I am having a lag problem. What is strange about this problem is that it only happens on this game and only after 7 pm. I have verizon FiOS and I my character is on the Diabolos server in the primal datacenter. I live in northern virginia.

I have done a tracert and I always have hops disconnect when I am lagging. I don't know how to diagnose it and I have no idea what it means. Is there anything I can do about it? Anyone else have lag issues?

I've lived in MD and now DC with Verizon FIOS and you will always have this issue during primetime. The game is unplayable without using WTFast (or another tunneling service). I've been playing FFXIV since launch and these issues are still present.

I've opened tickets with Verizon and they make the excuse that "they have no control over the data once they hand it off".

So your options are to either get a new ISP or use a tunneling service. My only other option is Comcast, so I opt to use the tunneling service.

Been my issue the whole time as well. In Delaware with Verizon Fios. Game is stupid laggy without WTFast. I NEED to use it, or the game just runs like garbage, lag wise. Perfectly smooth and quick with WTFast though.
