Do you guys need Fullscreen Windowed?

The problem with FFXI Windower was that it created a window to using malicious 3rd party tools such as bots, etc. FFXIV already comes with a windowed setting unlike FFXI, which I use. So using AutoHotKey does not create the same issues that FFXI Windower did. I'm not violating the ToS by using a feature that SE implemented themselves. All I'm doing is making my windowed screen (which is perfectly legal with FFXIV ToS) give the APPEARANCE of being fullscreen.

I was talking about the FFXIV Windower that was made the moment the game was released which was specifically only to make a Fullscreen Windowed and it was still shot down by S-E/

Just using a program to relocate the window cant really be a major issue.
(I use game relocator to move the window atm, still having borders is a touch annoying but not an issue What's the point in having a decent pc with 4 screens if i'm forced onto 1 cos if out of date ideas)
Widower, yes well it has other applications besides just moving the window, so that needed looking into.

My main problem is I cant use me other GPU's to run a 2nd copy, til recently i was just using a old pc and low res, not sure what il do now that one has been rebuilt for other people.
Although If i want to run 2 accounts i'd be forced to look at using windower (>.<)

I didn't know there was a windower besides the FFXI one. Maybe be more specific next time? The premise is still correct though. You claim manipulating Windows is a violation of ToS, when clearly I'm using the windowed mode that SE staff implemented themselves, all I'm doing is making it so I don't see a border, so I'm not violating anything. Period.

Show us the program and if it gets removed by mod, so be it. We will be forced to go rogue since SE do not want to embrace what is already going to happen!

That's pretty much what this is doing.

Just use AutoHotKey, it manipulates Windows only (removes borders and repositions the window) and therefore isn't against TOS. The only issue is that you're going to take a hit to FPS.

I did this for awhile, but stopped since it won't work with SLI.

What I do now is run XIV through steam, and I use the crummy web browser that comes with the Steam overlay to look stuff up on websites.

Well that sucks. Well it works for everyone NOT using SLI. Sorry Eekiki lol. Though I imagine there may be something similar out there that creates the same effect.
