lol. It's less about giving crafters ways to make gil and more about giving them things that people will actually want. As long as people want the things that crafters make, people will be willing to pay for it. Making gil is just a byproduct of making crafting meaningful. The only other alternative is to make crafting meaningless, and that would be pretty terrible.
