He wasn't there. The ot has to be there, within range, for the hit to split and affect him. It's a very simple concept.

So it was either that I took the damage and was instantly healed so fast that I didn't see the visual drop of my HP bar or that it was dodged.

You could have just mitigated it completely. That kind of thing can happen, especially as a Paladin. If the Drk ate the full blow, he'd have been left with closer to 10% of his HP left, not half. Drk doesn't have that good physical mitigation at all.

Then you were healed. You certainly didn't dodge it, and unlike the other person you aren't claiming the other tank took full damage. Case solved, onwards Watson!

I did dodge autoattacks with it in A1S. Still not sure if its worth the slot.
