All I asked for was some proof of the 1.2k no DRG, I literally don't care what your ilevel is/can possibly be right now. This is clearly not getting resolved unless you post a video, in which case I'll shut up and leave forever, but right now you're claiming you can easily pop out 100 more DPS out of thin air by "managing cooldowns." 1.3k on Faust? Not a chance...

It's a 2:40 fight. You burst really high, sustain pretty damn high. It's doable, even with only 2 wildfires. Give some numbers a chance dude. Like i said, I've been told i'm wrong or something's impossible before. Just believe it IS (especially if you hate on a class or w/e) to give you hope until proof arises.

I'm just saying, i dont pull numbers out of my ass. I do the tests. I get my rotations and openers down. And most importabtly, I know the damage my class can put out. Maybe my ego on my numbers being highest in my FC, (which, admittely, is a top NA fc, so a bit of a higher standard) clouds it on some things, but like that 2.4 650 monk - I dont make claims of something unless the potential is there. Just give me time to prove them xD

I'd love for you to be right and myself to be proven wrong, but I've tried a lot of stuff as well, and I think 1100~ is basically what MCH can pull on Faust/training dummy in 2.5 minutes with no cross class support. (Assuming nearby i185) And getting from 1050 to 1100 requires some substantial effort. (Zero mistakes, stance dancing, etc.)

i pull 1060 without xpot party or food buff pretty consistently single target. if you end it after the 2nd wildfire in a setting with xpot, party, food, maybe litany/fey wind/disembowel it will definitely be higher

dunno about 1200 sustained consistently without disembowel etc

I can hit around the mid 1.1ks on faust at my current ilvl with hive weapon. Granted you'll need to take a bit out of that since my ricochet is getting diluted by the adds (change this already).

Actually Richochet doesnt get diluted, its still 300 potency. Just 100+200/number of adds. Damage is the same; 1,000 damage divided amongst 22targets is still 1k damage

Just that the remaining 200 potency is spread on the adds and not concentrated on faust. In that way it does, indeed, get diluted. Not number wise on the parser, ofc.

It's diluted as damage that's dealt to Faust...which honestly should be your only concern. Just like how silly it is to take face value of a BRD doing 1.2k+ on faust because of flame arrow, you shouldn't take to face value that a machinist is doing 1.1k because not all of that damage is being dealt to faust.
