I have no problem getting 8 pieces a week (I have 2 characters). I don't PUG or join PUGs. Really not understanding people's difficulty or frustration with this.

Because it's a weekly, something done each week should not be this time consuming.
If you are playing 2 seperate characters you are obviously the type that plays this game a considerable amount and it doesn't bother you. People who can't play all the time this drives nuts.

There are people in my FC who can't play more than 2 hours a day and they aren't complaining... I'm assuming everyone's just going about it the wrong way. Probably only using DF and only lotting on certain items. That's just asking for disappointment and wasted time.Because it's a weekly, something done each week should not be this time consuming.

Imagine that, everyone is different. :lThere are people in my FC who can't play more than 2 hours a day and they aren't complaining... I'm assuming everyone's just going about it the wrong way. Why would you waste a roll on something that you don't need? That is nonsensical, of course people are going to wait for a drop they want, this becomes even more important when you start getting down to the last few pieces you need. It's a ridiculous loot system.

How exactly is it even possible to not need something at this point? If you're being silly and only gearing 1 job, maybe. That would kind of be your own fault though.Imagine that, everyone is different. :l

It's not something new that people like to focus on one (primary) job first, nor is it silly to a lot of people interested in endgame progression. It's effective. It also caters to the average player, who likely has no interest in splitting their gear progression or playing multiple roles.
Because people are gearing their mains for Savage? Wont get first Esoterics item for 3 weeks as those doing Savage, will be going for the biggest upgrade first. The weapon. Thats a few 190 upgrades during that 3 weeks (then 2 weeks for the chest) that would help in Savage progression.

Only a tiny fraction of the playerbase will ever enter Savage, and a lot of them won't even try it yet. At this point if you've been getting an item from all 4 turns every week, you already almost have everything there is to get from Alex normal. Still not really seeing the problem here. If you CHOOSE to only gear 1 job, and you CHOOSE to only roll on certain items in Alex, then you CHOOSE to take a lot longer and CHOOSE to be frustrated with this loot system when the majority of players are quite happy with it. I don't know how many times I'm going to have to say this: get a good free company, and good friends. If you can't find people who are willing to do turns that they don't need, you are playing with the wrong people.
