Rainbows?

If you're in a zone RIGHT after it stops raining and changes to weather, you'll see a rainbow.

I love the joyful mood of this pic.

I wonder how I missed seeing rainbows so much up until now lol. The time I tend to look upward the most is when there is a clear sky at night because they did an amazing job on the stars. Perhaps its that reason, I keep missing the rainbows. The one I saw in my pic was literally right in front of me so I could not miss it, it was eye level.

That rainbow in the shroud ( waterfall place ) was a sightseeing log lol

Ah! I didn't see the message in my chat log about entering a vista point but I will go back and check. Whether or not the "site" target is visible, the vista point message always shows up when you leave and enter the spot.

This is the first time I've heard of this. That said rainbows are created due to light reflecting off mostire in the air at just the right angle. It's very posspile for them to show up at waterfalls during the correct time of day. That's probably a standard occurance at that location.

I too was very surprised when I saw my first rainbow... Funny how it's the first time I thought about rainbows and first time I saw one in over a year of gameplay despite my attention to many details in the game!

I saw a massive one over Limsa the other day. Made it kind of look like the Disney castle.

Rainbows will appear during daytime weather transitions (8am EST and 4am EST) if the weather transitions from Rain or Showers to Clear or Fair.

The only one I ever saw was in Southern Thanalan on a clear blue sky, no idea what kind of weather came before it because I was afk for a while x)
But rain makes the most sense.

Now I wonder...has anyone ever seen a DOUBLE RAINBOW?
