. It's just a grind for gear that is also craftable with red scrips and ooids and plants guarding the ingredients.... btw, I believe crafters can make the offhands and rings (the things not on the vendor list.) Hey if you don't like it sell that stuff off and quit too.
Dont let the common trolls on forums fool you pretty much EVERY crafter a know and have talked to ingame is retiring from crafting or taking a break from xiv because of these changes.
