I was always up for a CS return but not for how it is designed for PvE, nerf it, don't remove it.
Give a similar pvp skill, give it a long cooldown, nerf a little the int <-> mind switch, but do something.
IF u still thing that parties with all healers will pop, give a progressive mind nerf to parties with 3 or more healers.

Don't forget we also get no rewards at all for healing.
Shiny mount? Get it for kills
Healing? No kills.
theres a mount for kills?

As was a White Mage who could get casts off. Either way the main reason SCH was so strong in Cleric was Eos and Lustrate, both of which's scaling have changed and lustrate can't be used in cleric no more meaning it would be easier to punish one in the stance. With the new disparity between DPS and healers and HP pools, even without cleric at 50 it's somewhat bareable. 200 hp hits out of a 10k hp pool is horribleHonestly you dont really need to play healer to understand that it was far too powerful, cleric stance was a thorn in the side of wolves den for a long time when you faced off against a decent scholar
The power was glaringly obvious in a casual mode like frontlines, where the potential for abuse is much higher and the average skill level is much lower
They should make it easier to heal people from other Alliances, tbh (even if it's, like, 1/4th of the healing your party is getting on AoE heals). This is really annoying when I get into matches where I am the only healer out of the 24 people in my GC (which happens a lot). I have to click on people to heal them and sometimes it's far too late, especially if I have no instant heals. They should also make your AP points set with the job like they do with Attribute points. SMNs don't want to go SCH because they only have just over a minute to reset their AP points and put it into appropriate healer skills.
Being a healer is really unforgiving, I agree. Aside from Attunement, which renders you useless anyway, you really have no way to get out of trouble. I'm actually surprised PvP doesn't offer some tank-like buffs to healers. If you happened to get left behind in a fight or are chased by 2+ people, you're basically dead if you're caught.
Melee LB is the worst thing. Even if you sprint away from the person LBing you, you are still one-shot. I don't know if it's a one-shot for everyone (let's be honest, melee save it for healers. I have yet to see a DPS or a tank be LB'd). Even caster LB (as annoying as it is) isn't a 1-shot if you're at full HP.
Healer LB isn't anything special, either. Yeah, it's a heal, but it's a weak heal (and I think it has some minor MP regain, but I've personally never had an MP issue in either of the FLs) and it has a cast bar. If you're in a situation where you can't pull of a heal, there's no way in hell you can pull off your LB. It should offer something else, like heal members not in your alliance, provide some kind of damage reduction buff, or do damage.
There is no mount for kills. Are you cooked?

Because you are THAT important to your team, that is why everybody want to kill you first.Point of the matter is, being a healer in PvP feels rather pathetic. Not all the time we will be able to heal our teammates, why, well we're main targets in PvP. Range DPS target us and interrupt heals, attacks too.
The balance that SE didn't consider is that Healers are always top priority in PvP. If they're not dead, then you'll soon be. And as if your team is always taking damage. There'd be moments
when your team is behind an alliance and have no other teams attacking you, so it'd be the
perfect time to pop cleric stance and DOT/stone3 baddies. And btw, Drks can heal themselves substantially, I seen one heal to 25% hp and kill a DPS just as he was about to die.
