This.Did anyone really expect them to not limit it to 450 a week like they have been doing for how long now? If it bothers you so much that you can't fully gear up in a week come back when the new Tomes are released and Esoterics are acted as Law. Overall, I am just tired of seeing people complaining over stupid stuff like this.
The reason caps like this exist, is because otherwise we would all be sitting with full gear sets after the first week... Or they make you grind for the gear, so that it would take a long time for players to get that gear, but then people would complain about it being too big of a grind...
I'm just confused why gear this patch is being replaced so quickly. We had 170/180 a week, replaced by 190 gear, which was replaced a week later by 200/210 gear. Given the time it takes to get a set of the 190 goodies it didn't make sense to already be offering replacements on the gear treadmill lol. As for the weekly cap I'm not surprised at all. Say hello to darklight and myth gear all over again though this time we get weapons. Also the 900 eso cost for weapons is cheaper than previous tomes weapons.
Sure is, maybe not for everyone.
Lame. That line is used way to often. No one ask for everything to be done in a day or a week.
Oh and btw people will be saying there isn't anything to do soon. Savage is going to lock out 85% of the player base, 450 tomes that won't take long and we're back to 2.0 all over again.
Least 2.0 had relic. i want relic.
So that people, who do the real raid, can upgrade their gears first. The other people have to wait until 3.15 (i guess) to get it from the next casual 24 man raid.
Actually no its not stupid. Yes 450 cap was the norm back then and its a bad idea. Supposing you even hit the cap every week, it takes a month just to get the weapon, the chest and the armor. Two, two and a half weeks for accessories, and probably a month more for the rest.Did anyone really expect them to not limit it to 450 a week like they have been doing for how long now? Sure it will be easy to get esoterics tomes when esoterics gear is no longer relevant. Why bother then? Oddly enough some of us want to do relevant stuff
Then pull up your big boy pants and start gathering your tomes every week.Actually no its not stupid. Yes 450 cap was the norm back then and its a bad idea. SE are such trolls with this.
"Oh you know that Law and Alex gear you got? It's now worthless!"
Welp, there go my hopes of not having to upgrade things for my main for once. T_T
It's really not when you actually break down the game. You think you're doing work and earning the gear? When in actuality you're only spending roughly a half hour doing a raid or a daily, then you're locked out until next week. So the time you spent after that wave of so called "progression" you aren't actually progressing, in reality you could obtain the best stuff in the game without a lockout in likely less then day. But if you read previous posts you'd know that's not what myself or others want, we want more ways to obtain the gear instead of completing again one raid level or 3 daily roulettes and being doing with the game until next week. But hey if you can't see people want more to do then just sit around for a week twiddling our thumbs then I don't know what to tell you.
