Please SE make it so that there is another way for those who can't seem to get into Alex savage static groups. Are able to upgrade their weapons and armor they buy with estorics without having to do Alex savage. This is really a poor idea. Give people the ability to buy weapons and armor with their estorics but say no you can't upgrade them unless you do Alex savage. Some people try to get into statics for it but seem to no matter how hard they try other people just won't let them join. Me and my husband are in a 2 person fc so unless we get others to allow us to join their statics we are out of luck. Which to me isn't fair. I know it seems like we are complaining but we have tried for weeks to get into one without any luck. I think others might feel the same way if they were in my shoes. I want to progress but without the assistance from others I can't. Which says to me that SE is saying even though you've tried your hardest to do so that's to bad. So I ask SE can you either make it so the armor and weapons are 210 when we get them which I don't think will happen. Or please make it so we have another way besides doing Alex savage to upgrade them. Yours truly Your fan

No need to worry. It will likely become attached to a 24man raid in the future just as the upgrade items from Coil were attached to WoD via a weekly quest.

Personally, Im happy to see that the upgraded esoterics will be the same ilvl as the savage upgraded gear. So if you dont like raiding you can still be competitive in other means.

it was the same with coil though so i highly doubt they will change anything best of luck on your request though

They'll likely be made available through other content like it was done for the Ironworks gear in later patches.

Did you play 2.3 and 2.5 ?
In 3.1, you'll get a 24-man raid, that will probably drop items to upgrade esoteric gear.

And hardcore raiders will whine (again) because those "filthy casuals" can get the same ilvl as them "without doing any effort"

As they said above, they will eventually make it available through other means. The upgrade items being available in raid first is really meant to help clear that content easier for them as they farm it.

For now, it's best not to worry since if you're not raiding you don't NEED the highest ilevel gear. Just wait for the 24 man to be implemented and get it then.

It's not that I don't raid or I don't want to raid. It's that on my server I can't find a raid group. I wouldn't have a problem if I could find a raid group. But like I said I can't get people to let me join their groups. Believe me I've tried. Even when coil was the thing it took me forever just to get through to turn 10 because of this same reason. The people on my server is the main problem not that I've got no interest cause I do I just can't seem to get people to let me join them for some reason.

I understand your plight entirely! It took me ages to find a raid group (and moreover one that was patient and fun). I no longer have the patience, time, or willpower to raid so I likely wont bother with Savage, so Im thankful that SE added some other methods to gear up that are on par with Savage gear.

Alex: Gordias likely wont become duty finder-able for a while yet, so I wish you luck on finding a group. Hang in there!

Anyone know of any Alex savage groups on any server are seeking a mage dps? This could help to wouldn't mind server hoping if i have to just want to get into an Alex savage group if that's what it takes. I just don't want my estorics gear going to waste. At least that's what i call it when I get gear that can be upgraded but can't upgrade it cause its tried behind a wall like Alex savage and the like.
