Two maintenances

This maintenance is unwarranted, the only reason they're doing two separate sets of maintenance is because of the crafting gear. They do not want world first FC's to use crafted gear and clear the raid straight away. I don't get why, if people want to mix and match melded gear that should be their prerogative not SE's decision.

They absolutely hated how quickly we cleared the previous coils with overmelding and single tank strats. They even commented that they were surprised and didn't expect the level of melding players would achieve (go figure huh?).

This is one of the reasons the crafted gear is right now kind of garbage.

That's not why lol. The changes are staggered because they had to make unexpected alterations to crafting/gathering based on feedback given from those classes. See the real question is would you rather wait til Thursday to do Savage Mode Alexander or have the opportunity to do it today and tomorrow while of course suffering a second update because the changes to craft/gather would of held back this patch had they decided to hold off and do it in one patch.
