Two maintenances

This maintenance is unwarranted, the only reason they're doing two separate sets of maintenance is because of the crafting gear. They do not want world first FC's to use crafted gear and clear the raid straight away. I don't get why, if people want to mix and match melded gear that should be their prerogative not SE's decision.

They absolutely hated how quickly we cleared the previous coils with overmelding and single tank strats. They even commented that they were surprised and didn't expect the level of melding players would achieve (go figure huh?).

This is one of the reasons the crafted gear is right now kind of garbage.

Maintenance is going to interrupt -someone- regardless of when it is, and I'm ok with it! ... It just feels super often as of late.

This ^^^ and its almost ALWAYS the same time slot and therefore the same group of people being affected.

Not at all; consider the fact that some of us work at odd times (outside of the usual 9-5 malarky), sometimes, the game really feels like it's down more than it is up during the times that we can play.

You say 'play the next day', well what if we can't, because of work? :3, what if our next day off is yet another maintenance?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to waste my breath asking, or even bother to think that SE would ever change their maintenance times because they won't. But at the same time, it's a little meh when you pay to play a game, that you can't all too often. Don't assume that people are getting narky because they need the game to survive (that's just wrong, and rude, and painting an entirely wrong picture). People just want to be able to enjoy a product that they pay for.

I have odd work schedules and I don't always get to play.
I'm not trying to be rude but the amount of threads about people hooting and hollering about main times
gets annoying. These mait times are a bit annoying, but they can't
always catch things on the spot...and they need rest too. Didn't we agree to this stuff anyways?
Better than 2.0 where none of us could of logged in for a good 2 weeks or so.
Picking and choosing times like this is better. At least some people can get on and play.

The reason for 2 part patch is to keep download time down so instead of 30 min to 1h update to longer than 1 hour

Totally not disputing that, or even getting mad. Not gonna lie, it is bleh and it does feel kinda sucky when there are maintenances that could be condensed into one that are then spread over multiple days.

I know it's at the same time, and who it conveniences, and I've said in the past that I don't mind :3

No one's getting butthurt over it, or hooting and hollering as you'd put it (Not sure how you're reading people's tones XD), we're just saying "Man, agaaaain D:"

And no one's disputing that folks need rest either. I totally agree! Sleep is awesome, I wish I was able to get more of it.

That being said; your first post in the thread was rather misguided when you assumed that people were kicking up a stink and getting butthurt over things. (Oh my gawwd you guys need this gaem to survive?!?!?!)

To clarify; no, we don't. It is kinda meh when we're losing so much playtime though. No one's asking for them to change maint times, we do kinda not-so-secretly wish that they'd be more selective of when non-emergency maint was conducted. Weekly's cool, but every 2-3 days is really kinda meh D:

Remember the emergency mait the other day?
One topic was made and this one guy got so damn furious, I assumed this was another one of those posts.
It's just hard to deal with because as I said, they soley do it for whats best for Japan's times.

There is literally nothing that they can/will do. They have set it up so that it effects as few of their subscribers as possible based on geographical location and typical play hours. There is literally NOTHING that they can do without hurting other people and probably more people. Sorry, but you are a statistic.
