Two maintenances

In order to accompany Patch 3.05, we will be performing maintenance on all Worlds at the time below. During this period, FINAL FANTASY XIV will be unavailable.

* Patch 3.05 will be implemented in two separate maintenances. Adjustments to gatherer/crafter, including “red crafters' scrip” and ”red gatherers' scrip”, will be implemented in the maintenance scheduled on Jul. 22, 2015.

* The World Transfer Service will be suspended 15 minutes before the maintenance, and will be unavailable until maintenance has ended.

* Please be advised that you will be unable to make reservations for Ceremonies of Eternal Bond from the time maintenance ends until Jul. 24, 2015 2:00 a.m. (PDT)

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.

SE, please, just extend maintenance time frames and do one long maintenance, rather than two maintenances a day apart. The amount of maintenance we've had in recent weeks is becoming a major hinderance for some people who can only play during the maintenance time frames.

Some people's life schedules mean their only time to play is when maintenance hits. I get off work at 11 PM, so when I get home maintenance isn't far off, and by the time it's done I've usually gone to bed. Not that I really feel strongly about maintenance times myself; no matter when you schedule it you're going to interrupt someone, and my schedule drew the short straw. However, I can understand why some people would like a longer maintenance, especially with how much has been going on since the expansion dropped.

This isn't about managing though~ :3 Read the post above~ For some of us (Like OP), they have lost 30% of their gametime (give/take) this month because of maint. A lot of which could have been compiled into one maintenance.

Like I said before also; this isn't about kids kicking up a stink and being all "WAAAAH YOU TAEK GAEM FROM ME!", It's more like a "Maaaan this is kinda overkill, but meh, what can you do?"

Maintenance is going to interrupt -someone- regardless of when it is, and I'm ok with it! ... It just feels super often as of late.

Considering that guy isn't even the OP, and he's pretty chill about the whole maint thing (hell, honestly, everyone in this thread is), your reply was pretty unnecessary. (I'd suggest actually reading the thread before assuming people need to just 'deal with it')

Not at all; consider the fact that some of us work at odd times (outside of the usual 9-5 malarky), sometimes, the game really feels like it's down more than it is up during the times that we can play.

You say 'play the next day', well what if we can't, because of work? :3, what if our next day off is yet another maintenance?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to waste my breath asking, or even bother to think that SE would ever change their maintenance times because they won't. But at the same time, it's a little meh when you pay to play a game, that you can't all too often. Don't assume that people are getting narky because they need the game to survive (that's just wrong, and rude, and painting an entirely wrong picture). People just want to be able to enjoy a product that they pay for.
