I did not mention instinctual for a reason. For a reason that anyone else that actually mines these on a regular basis does not:
It's RNG. After several dozen uses it gave me towards the 0.8 end far more then towards the 1.5 end. As such it shouldnt be advised as a means to obtain minimum collectibility ratings. Because theres no telling if it will actually work.


Fun fact: the best rotation for obtaining Dawnborne from Ephemerals requires using a Impulsive before any abilities. Yet interesting enough despite its 30% chance its entirely possible to hit 12 nodes without it procing on (first) hit. Because its an RNG based ability.



So please do not advise using abilities that are 100% RNG on whether or not they work. No, if they do work it doesnt mean you are ''more skillfull at using your abilities'', only that RNGesus smiled upon you.

meth = 96 (2/6 gathering attempts used, 10/30 wear, 0 GP used)
de + meth = 144 (3/6 gathering attempts used, 20/30 wear, 200 GP used)
uc + de + instinctual = max of 216 (4/6 gathering attempts used, 30/30 wear, 500 GP used)
Gives two collection attempts. Lower chance of successfully reaching 450+ than Impulsive use.

But please, feel free to keep sharing facts about how it's impossible. You also can't expect a certainty of getting 450 if you're doing it in trashbags for gear, how entitled are you? really?
The actual reason you didn't include it is either because it makes you wrong, which you are by the way, or because you didn't actually think of it. "Impossible" means impossible, it doesn't mean "less than a 100% chance". Yes, you can fail 12 times in a row, you can also get the proc 12 times in a row, it is not an argument. Telling people it can't be done is not helpful in any way, it's totally doable and you only need to luck out three times to get your first upgrade which makes subsequent upgrades easier.
