Really SE? (The new healer PVP gear)

I really dislike a good chunk of the robes - mainly the HW robes. Not a big fan of looking like I just came out of a wealthy cathedral. And everything practically a dress.
I don't mind, so much, the Law gear, but still not what I'm looking for.

I hate gowns =_= Looks fine on girls, but.... not so much for guys (thats my opinion, though. Also not a fan of my character being referred to as 'she' by DF peeps, either.... which has happened a number of times, in both the Daystar and Poetics robes >_> Again, thats just me/my feels). I just wish for something a little more masculine for the guys (and isn't just a sack with a hood. I think we all know the low level robe I'm refering to), but still fits the 'mage-y' class feel.
The HW ones I DID like were somewhat feminine in color (The Shikaree reskinned top..... super light pastel greens and blues. I'd have liked it more if not for the color scheme)

Either way, needs more variation. Except for the Hallowed Ramie Doublet for a short time, I pretty much glamoured the battlemage top (because I like that it's different in shape, - robe-y, but not robe-y, but not plain at the same time) and HA pantsu with HW tall boots and HW tall gloves over almost every piece of HW gear since entering Ishgard - including all the Law (minus head) and Alex gear (just Alex boots so far, for left side, but still).

Only robe-y thing I'll take over the BM top is the HA coat. *_* (Robe-y, still.... but I'll forgive it. <3 IF IT WOULD DROP (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻ ).

I'm so tired of getting gear that doesn't fit my scholar at all. There needs to be way more Job specific gear. I'm not a fucking nun, please quit giving me white robes.

Whatever, I still need to finish my decent looking i110 pvp set anyway.

Very disappointed. I would really like more tunic-like healing outfits; most of the HW healing robes are just awful throw-pillow covers or caster reskins.

Still wearing my HA tunic until something better comes out. It's robe-esque but different enough, and it also doesn't resemble a throw-pillow.

WTB less robes please.

the SCH AF1/1.5 body piece is really nice looking, at least (IMO). It looks magely and scholarly without being a robe. Of course, anyone who plays more than 1 healer can't really glamor job specific gear...

BCOB and SCOB has some of the best looking healer gear in the game, IMO. But... can't dye, so mix-and-match options are limited. And, you know, BCOB is 2 years old now and SCOB isn't exactly recent...

I saw the Bard/machinist set and honestly I have to ask why must they put them in such long robes that look like dresses!
Is this there way of saying your now a caster and must stand still or ruin your new dress.

Also the tank set looks awesome and the monk is amazing

Ilvl 60 dungeons: tabard dress with short legs (not bad)

Law tombstone gear: eastern themes (FYI about 70% of healers are probably wearing this RIGHT NOW)
Alexander: More priest gowns hooray!

I actually like the sharlayan set, one of the only ones that doesn't feel weird on scholar.
I hate the valerian set.... who thought keeping hot pants for both sexes was a good idea... especially on a lala it just looks bizarre.

I love the af 1/i90 set for scholar. Sadly the Af2 looks like an abomination.

I still need to go back and finish up a lot of old stuff and collect old glamour sets - I only started playing about 2 months ago so I never got into coil.

The SCH AF 1/1.5 was nice ... Two years ago. I do like the BCoB/SCoB gear, but it's getting really old now. I wore a dyed Riveira Tunic outfit for a while, matched with a Garuda book, too. It just seems like most of the HW gear is just more of the same floor-length robes without much variety.

I don't hate the Valerian Shaman's gear, but it's purple and the shorts look awful on the males, especially on my Elezen. If it was dyeable, I'd probably rock it for a while. However, the bright purple/pink is a little much for me, and it's disappointing, because I really like the design.

Agreed. I'm running the Sharlayan set for now, it's different and doesn't look bad IMO, but after that... probably back to Lv1 gear, or maybe something from the first 2 coils.

I liked the Sharlayan set for a moment; I went with a more "steam punk" feeling. Used goggles and the mechanical-looking codex. It was still too robe-ish for me ... And brown/green. I'd much prefer the Caster's Sharlayan robe, which is what I have on my SMN, along with the Garuda book, it looks really nice with the black/green.

Some of the HW sets have skirt-legs as well (law gear in particular), and when you ride on the dragon mount, it makes for an ... interesting ... experience. The bare man legs ... Aaaah!
