To be fair, they all look a bit meh.
It's either completely black or completely white.
The only 1 with some color variation is black mage.

Wow, I kinda need that MNK set...
EDIT:
Anyone have a link to pictures of all job sets?

I kinda like the set. But, AGAIN, casters and healers are getting the same palette swapped robes. I also don't really understand why the unicorn set wasn't the healer set. To me, it makes more sense for the griffin to be the bard/machinist set and unicorn to be the healer set.
Makes me glad I'm leveling miner to get my Thav silks for the bustier and legs (have the shoes already).
Yes here's the link: http://jp.finalfantasyxiv.com/pr/blog/001101.html
And so many hoods! Ughhh noooooo hoods are awful! I want to see my face and my hair! I'm glad these are the PvP sets so not necessary, but I just hope this isn't going to be a trend with new PvE sets.
I would love if they put in a /visor option to let you put or or take off the hood :/Yes here's the link: http://jp.finalfantasyxiv.com/pr/blog/001101.html

This is a repost, but for this thread I think its justified.Would a little variety in the healer gear be too much to ask for? Please?
Having white robes is not a bad thing. But, you know, we've got the law set. We've got several of the pre-60 sets. We've got all the ARR robes.
Someone went all out for MNK's gear there. Someone put a lot of thought and effort into that design.
Now, I look at healer gear there, and in Alex, and...
can we healers please, please be slightly less generic? (Unlike melee, we already share gear between 3 jobs...)
As someone whos done PvP for their WHM glamor, I'm sick of squares laziness at this point, nothing justifies their constant re-skinning of healer/caster gear in this game post expansion. Lets take a look:
Daystar
Chimerical Felt Robe of Healing
Rainbow robe: A re-skin of the pilgrim set
Holy Rainbow shirt: A re-skin of the Shirt of the Divine Light
Ramie robe: ANOTHER re-skin, this time of the robes of the divine
Hallow Ramie doublet: Re skin again, this time of the Shikaree's Doublet
And then as for the dungeons:
Dusk vigil: Priest Gown
Sohm Al: Caveman robe (Atleast its unique but cmon, this is Eorzea, not bedrock)
The Aery: Orthodox (Ok, this one looks amazing, my current BLM glamor (Caster version), hope they make it a dyeable craftable later)
The vault: More Priest robes...
The great libary: Harry Potter cosplay
Ilvl 60 dungeons: tabard dress with short legs (not bad)
Law tombstone gear: eastern themes (FYI about 70% of healers are probably wearing this RIGHT NOW)
Alexander: More priest gowns hooray!
Is a V neck robe/gown really too much to ask for? We need some variety AND WE NEED IT NOW!
Also fix the clipping will ya!:
Orthodox
Battlemage
Taffeta
Swangrace (Pvp rank not available atm, Fitting room)

I think MNK wins. Also I hate when they show gear on a lalafel...
Have you seen the demon skirt of healing? It's knee length, IIRC... though AFAIK, it's the only one and has a particular aesthetic. WHM AF robe also comes to slightly past knee length, if a robe is close enough.>.> There is a reason my ast glam atm is the rainbow shirt....I am very happy every class type can have one of those awesome shirts! love it.
I would like some mid-length skirts personally since all we have are very short or ankle length. And a shirt that looks like the top of the Riviera dress, a corselet and puffy sleeves that I can wear/dye separate from the long skirt.
Good news! From what I've heard these armor sets feature the hood as a separate piece like the Dreadwyrm sets (WHM AF2 too), so you can hide or glamor over them as you like. I'm not sure if /visor will do anything, but it does on some of the Heavensward dungeon sets, so maybe?
I hadn't seen this post before; thank you for sharing.
At least it's not the BRD set.....
Hoarders gonna Horde.
Sorry, but other than the healer Dreadwyrm, I cannot think of a single recent set that has a hood.
