anyone think SE might bring back the FF XI, Lightning Returns, and Dragon Quest events someday?

edit: yeah, sorry it's not a very thought out post. I did this early in the day, before going to work, and with...personal issues going on, my mind is a mess right now. >.<

I hope if they bring the Lightning Event back The Chaos Blade (Caius' Two Handed Sword), The Vega 42(s) (Sazes Guns) and maybe the Oracle drive or something will be added for the three new jobs. I think the Oracle Drive would be a good choice for Astrologer's weapon since it could already (kind of) see the future in the FF13 Trilogy.

Ironically, Sazh's guns are already in the game - but not in the way you're thinking of. They're actually the PGL/MNK weapon, stuck together in a weird frame and resemble large clunky brass knuckles, and even have a firing effect when you hit the enemy. Hence, if the FFXIII event does come back, I doubt you will see any new weapons for any of the new classes/Jobs (this was already shown the last time the event ran - they did not add any new weapons for ROG/NIN, a class and Job which had just been recently added to the game).

The Lightning Event Pugalist/Monk weapon is based on the Fal'Cie (Specifically Orphan) not the Vega 42s.

But yeah, how they're arranged is meant to emulate the Pulse L'cie brand in shape. It's clear though, that Sazh's guns are built into it.
