More gender locked clothing

I'm wondering what the Astrologian af is gonna look like on male characters since we've pretty much only seen it on girls (I have the faint impression that I saw it on a guy but maybe I'm mistaken). The White Mage gear especially is very feminine. Those Scylla's dress things are hideous on every person regardless of gender. XD

Alas I can not be the bunny eared man I want to be. Tho the Amon gear is nice. It can not be the only gear like it.

I believe when I first put one on I said, "I look like I raided Ultimecia's reject closet." Then I saw a DudeRoe in one. I went to the nearest field and blew up a lot of things.

The AST AF won't look too different. In the AST quest you see a male wearing the AST. Only difference is there's no cleavage exposure

I don't want to see any character in overly revealing clothing but there's really nothing I can do about that, just have to accept it and move on.
However, if female characters can have these options I don't see why male characters can't.

Heck, I'd love it if I could wear the Male Dragoon Artifact Armor, looks much better without the midrift.

As already mentioned, what kind of clothing is that "manly" to be male only in this game?
I for one would like to see more tuxdeoes/suits and more shirts that don't look like bras (looking at the yet-to-be-released swimsuits).
The problem is that male outfits are designed to be cool looking and make the wearer look tough but the problem is, many female players want that kind of look as well (which I can understand).

This is precisely WHY people are lobbying for males to be allowed to wear more feminine clothes to balance it out. Because the real issue is that there is NO reason to lock females from wearing most male clothes designs, but because it's still considered "strange" these days for a man to wear a dress they don't even bother trying to refit a female dress onto the male form. I understand the modeling issues they've mentioned in that something made for the female frame is harder to fit onto the male frame from a design standpoint. Okay. Then please put in the effort so that males can have something equivalent to it - something that has MALE sex appeal. And if you cannot do that, please put in that extra effort to let those female designs be worn by males, because honestly, it is a whole lot easier to just adjust an existing design to be put on a male frame than to create a new design exclusive to males that a female character somewhere isn't going to covet.

We want equality, and we love the gear you're coming out with SE. You don't need to change your designs, just make sure that if you decide it's okay for half your set advertised as genderlocked ISN'T left exclusive that the other half loses this exclusivity as well. Because it's a whole lot less work doing this than to design yet another new set for guys and then going "you know, this would also look great on girls" and leaving the guys out.

There's such a huge opportunity here to change things up or to even get more revenue to SE. Allowing us to really go wild with outfits would really make things a lot more fun. They could even sell more of them in the Mogstation for real $$. All I want is the fricken Bohemian's Coat from one of those seasonal events! It looks so badass grr.
