Is Perpetual Ray classified as magic damage?

Just needed a clarification. My recent experience in A4 with the tank buster seems like WARs are having a hard time dealing with it, PLDs are somewhere in the middle and I'm seeing DRKs having the easiest time getting through Phase 3. Reddit posts says it's magic damage, which would explain why DRKs have it the easiest due to their 60s CD magic reduction buffable by DA. I main a PLD and I tend to have trouble with the third perp ray. Can anyone with more experience confirm?

You aren't meant to solo tank it anyways. At least not the last ones. It is very clear Savage is going to require a Tank-swap midway.

Also you kind of have it backwards. WAR can deal with it best without blowing your "Dont kill me" CD (Holm/Hallow/Living), followed by DRK then PLD.

Regardless, on my team we don't take any chances. I take the first Two on my WAR while I still have IB+Thrillvalescence and IB+Vengeance, and my Co-tank (DRK) takes it for the third. I suppose a PLD can work Hallowed into the third without issues tho, making it "Best" if you want a single tank dealing with them (And assuming you don't get more than 3).

We solo Tank him and me as WHM can easy solo heal the PLD the hole fight even all tank busters incoming. Only thing what PLD pop is 40% Sentinal if he dont forget it. Also Hallow Ground he use for catching bubbles not for tank buster. Its simple normal mode... oO

i just heal it with adlos, its not a problem on any tank in my experience.
You can start the last phase with full healer mana, no excuses.

What are your PLD CD rotations on phase 3? I usually use Rampart+Convalescence on the 1st, Sentinel on the 2nd, HG on the third and pray it's dead before the 4th.

No CD on the first one, rampart on the second, sentinel on the third, convalescence on the fourth (shouldn't happen).

You shouldn't have any problem eating the mechanic as a PLD (it doesn't deal much in normal mode).

Don't really need a CD on the first because thing usually are still very clam at that time. Then it's Rampart+Stoneskin, then Sentinel+Stoneskin, then HG, then Stoneskin and try to time a Clemency to land between the hits and pray that it doesn't get interrupted. :3

And yet the run gets done (faster), with no issues and you're carried by the tanks cause the dps were only doing 500 dps, but you stay salty and your feelings about how "tanks only tank" dont let you see the fact you just had one of your best runs.
