No, there is no official announcement regarding jobs here. All we got was a partial mechanics explanation.

About all jobs, this you might have some trouble finding outside the wiki sites...but i believe that if you get FFIV, V, X, X-2, XI, FFT, FFTA and FFTA2 you might have pretty much every job from FF covered, which might be something like 50~60 jobs total.

About someone with axe and musket, i don't think it will happen...but you can see Sthalmann (Limsa main scenario NPC and possible Musketeer guild main NPC) doing this combo. He actually uses the main trait combo that everyone always wanted in FFT serie but that was restricted to only jobs that have one of the two traits native of them...dual wield + monkey grip. He can hold 2 weapons and hold 2-handed weapons with one hand.

Oh, sorry for the misunderstood but yes, I meant advanced jobs for FFXIV, not from previous games.

At last interview, while explaining about the trap spells that arcanist would use they also said, when asked about arcanist and musketeer having jobs, it was possible for arcanist to become geomancer to use the terrains to fight.
