The reason you want to start out with DE is because you trick attack right after, so that you not only get 20% extra damage on on hit for SF and MUT, but also 10% DoT damage for SF and MuT, while also having Trick up while everyone is using their opening burst + bringing it off cooldown the quicker.

Basically by going DE -> Trick -> Sf -> Mut, you can get in all OCD's besides either Kassatsu or Duality. While all your damage amps are up.

Obviously this relies on pulls being coordinated with your tanks.
