Judging by the above mentioned story, raids will be painful for me. I know that I am not forced to do raids, so how do you think, will I lose too much if I never do raids again? + Is it possible to get minimum gear for Heavensward without doing raids?

Like others have said, it's not strictly necessary to do these raids for the gear anymore. You can now do other stuff to get poetics gear which even without the upgrades are a good i120 and are more than sufficient to start Heavensward with. Plus right from the start you can buy white i115 gear from the vendors there if you have the Gil.

Also, try not to forget how many people stood with you against the bully. Not only did they call him out, but enough people thought he was deserving of a votekick that it went through.

You came in and mocked my post regarding elitists in this game. Anyone with an ounce of critical thinking can read my post and see exactly what I am talking about. It is only ambiguous because you want it to be. So yes, when you mock it so I will automatically presume you are one of them. You can either agree or disagree with me, you chose to disagree. So with my little ounce of critical thinking this behavior is just fine with you. In fact, I would bet I am annoying you a thousand times more with this thread than any elitist in the game does. That's pretty much exactly what venting is. Not like it comes with a solution, nor does it even specify a problem. "Some people are bad and that's bad." Okay.

This thread is just filling up with anecdotes about times people were rude to them in game. That's all that's really happening.

Not necessarily a bad thing - vent threads have a time and place. Just pointing out that that's all that it is.

I already admitted my first post was rudely sarcastic. But it wasn't more than that, it was just a slightly rude post on an internet forum (with initially light-hearted intent; wouldn't kill you to read my signature before assuming I'm "one of them"), and the backlash I've gotten for it includes being an elitist, being incapable of critical analysis, and being a troll.

You're right that this post is more annoying to me than any elitists in game. Not because I'm an elitist, but because y'all are far more rude than any of the elitism I've actually encountered in game (Not all of ya in the thread obviously, just the couple who seem to think I'm the antichrist because we don't share opinions). And to top it all off, your justification for being rude is to stop others from being rude.

As for "don't pug" that's not a solution and you know it.

No, it was not even directed at me, but at the other new people in the group who were in a low level dungeon for the first time. I just can't stand elitists. If you are not willing to help the new people in the community just stop queueing, it is pathetic.

Unfortunately the game FORCES you to pug low level roulette. Trust me, people have been asking for a premade low level roulette for over a year.

And the mere fact you think threads complaining about elitists ruining the game experience for new players is more annoying than the actual people ruining the game experience for players is enough for me to say you are more elitist than not.

Sooo, you're one of those that get angry with me when I use my Blank, Leg Graze , Heart Breaker, Hot Shot combo to send enemies flying and kill them before they can get back up?

Because no matter how useless it may seem, it totally looks like I hit them with a shotgun then finished them with a revolver when I do that with Mechanist. <Troll Face>
