This. Blue Garter did world first Twintania I believe though, and possible Nael as well. But Lucrezia were world first in Final Coil.

That said, I don't expect them to one-week this. They've described Alexander Savage as "harder than a theoretical Final Coil (Savage)". If this holds true I fully expect groups to barely be able to clear one or two floors in the first week simply due to the lack of relevant gear.

Also to the OP, I seriously doubt the next chunk of 4-man dungeons will require near perfect gear, new tomes available or no.

You are absolutely right. Heh, used to Blue Garter being in the limelight that I kind of glossed over who did what. Still was an impressive feat using gear that would later be deemed by Square to be below the iL requirement.

I'm pretty sure their left-side gear didn't make a ton of difference, crafted or no. At least not compared to their accessories, which made a world of difference. Heck, leveling my tanks I use my old melded i110 set (DF healers make me cry sometimes) even in the Library. Can't use it after 60 due to the ilv requirement (though really...full STR or maybe 1 or 2 VIT accessories if you have a bad healer is fine in the 60 dungeons, so...)
