Yes, I do agree that delirium is screaming for a DA effect. I like the idea of magic vulnerability up, would bring more OT utility.

If it's anything like STR down, it's probably closer to ~8%, but it's definitely worth using vs. any enemies that use INT based damage. So when you pair it with the (superior/exclusive to WAR) storm's path debuff, that's like a 17% damage reduction. It's almost like an extra layer of shadowskin.

IDK the one thing I DO like about Delirium is I don't feel guilty about not using a Dark Art's buff when I use that combo
Every time I Souleater without a DA buff I feel like - somewhere - a puppy dies

Eh... sometimes a non-DA Soul Eater is warranted. While our self heals might not be worth a huge amount, sometimes they can help out a bit in a pinch, even if you can't buff it with DA.

I've been using SE a lot in instances when I've got a healer that wants to DPS. With or without DA. It's not a huge return, but since you're not taking *that* much damage in most of the current dungeon set, it lets the healer stay in cleric stance for that much longer.

I lol'ed. I know what you mean, but even a non-DA souleater is worth it a lot of the time. Vanilla souleaters hit for around 800-ish at current ilvl (with a chance to crit too of course) It you take a 5k smack to the face and time a souleater to follow, thats effectively/kind of a 16% damage reduction.

Ya. Maybe we should place context on all this drk complaining. Is this just a min max issue? Cause i feel the whole idea of these new classes is a happy medium between existing ones. Mch= smn\brd. Ast = whm\sch. Drk = pld\war. If people have been wanting these new classes to replace, outshine, or be a 1 for 1 recreation of any already existing class. Then this has been winning for nothing.
Depends, really.
If IB and Sheltron start becoming relevant due to frequent physical tank busters, DRK's mitigation starts to crumble. On magic fights with frequent tank busters, however, they're fine. DRK isn't in dire straits, they can easily tank all the current content, it's more a question of how they will hold up in the future. Savage has a lot of magic (especially in F4), so I think DRK will be fine there, but if F3 starts hitting like a truck in Savage I dunno how much I'd trust a DRK.

is F3 all physical? I know some of it can be parried, but I thought there was some magic damage in there too.Depends, really.

As far as I know all the swipes from Human/Hand are physical. The tether in Tornado phase and the AOE that the Human form does are magical. Might be wrong, would need to go test it out, but that's how it seemed.
