Titan is the easiest primal, though...

You can't take extra-damage from random stuff like in Garuda EX. Ifrit EX is a headache for healers. Ramuh EX is just awful because it requires a coordination between tanks, DPS and healers, and I don't expect this to happen, ugh. In Titan, meh, he's just a lag-happy-monster.

I cleared Titan EX 4-5 times with 1.5-2 sec lag just because I knew his rotation. I had to eat a landslide in P2 to survive (sounds weird, I know), but I cleared him.

Firs thing to note: Because of xpac there will be less people running Titan EX most likely, and those who are, most likely don't have a lot of exp in it right now either.

Second thing to note: Every wipe gets you more exp in there, learning his pattern. Titan EX is one big pattern with just enough randomness thrown in to keep it a little interesting. Get everyone to stack up under Titan except for the MT removes a good deal of the random from the fight as well.

What others have said: Titan is a 100% scripted fight. Once you've learned his rotation, you can prepare yourself to dodge Landslide or Weights before they even happen.

I have a potato computer that suffers massive framerate drop during Weights and I can still clear Titan because I know when they're about to happen and can be ready to dodge before they even appear on the screen.

It is "Extreme" mode, it is not meant to be a walk in the park. Watch some videos and practice. Dodging is more important that dps in there.

I've have looked up youtube videos on titan, and followed the steps up to phase 4, the impossible phase. I've done 7 attempts and all of them continue to fail. I am continued to get grouped to people who have crap pc that can barely run the game, and crap connection that make them always die on phase 1 and 2... Group to people who can't follow simple instruction that basically result to a wipe, and continue to press the abandonment button or even take the penelty and left the group after the third attempt, dragging us down demoralize the whole team and waste more minutes on the fucking timer trying to group which probably cost around 20 fucking minutes.

Seriously this Extreme is not fun at all and even more frusterating for me.

I've been playing this game since 2.0's launch and still haven't beaten Titan EX.

With the gear now you can skip so many attacks of all those old Primals. Run with mostly all your FC mates and friends though, randoms in those old EX Primals are awful.
I thought this was going to be about Bismarck and Ravana XD.

Our FC does do older EX runs for those of use who haven't beaten them yet but Titan is always the one that gives us trouble. The first timers (and a good chunk of the old timers) always get really bad lag, getting hit well after attacks have already happened, when they are out of their AoEs. Personally I wish SE would update the fight so that it would be as smooth as Leviathan and Ravana, in terms of lag and attack delay, maybe remove the who long fall for a ring out mechanic like the other two.

Don't let the most difficult optional content in the game spoil your enjoyment. My own way of dealing with it is to not feel like I must clear 100% of all content. It's great if the right opportunity arises and good people are available to help, but if not there's plenty of other things to enjoy. I think Titan is the easiest primal too. Mechanically there isn't much going on, but it's impossible if people have lag. To ease the difficulty of finding 8 good people you can just get a smaller number of overgeared and overleveled people to challenge it with the undersized party option.

Then take a break from it, not everything in the game is meant for every player. The Extremes are made for the ones who really like a challenge, the ones who like to persevere through what you find bad enough to make this thread, and conquer it. If you don't like a part of a game, you probably shouldn't play it, it will make you dislike the game. That or take a break from it, learn your job inside and out, and then go back with a PF group. Titan still isn't very successful in DF because you will always have a couple that want to be carried, and titan isn't friendly to that. Most of the people blaming it on lag are just making excuses btw, you have to be on point in there, and a lot don't get that.
