Observations from a New Player

Wait, tell me when the last time you used a potion? be honest. If they took the potions out of the game tomorrow, would you miss it? will people all over the game start failing duties? ?

X-ether during Floor 4 Alexander, Phase 3. X-potion when I am soloing on lowbies.

Good tanks that let people get exp or want exp for themselves clear the whole dungeon. Don't bring everyone down to your level and assume everyone is like you.

Wait, like me how? I don't speed run. I hate it. I don't even have a high enough lvl tank. I don't tank. But I've been in parties where tanks take off and speed run, alot. So explain what you mean by "not bringing people down to my level". Im curious, what lvl would that be? And lets get something straight here with this game, I'm all for it. I'm a FF fanatic/fanboy/whatever you wanna call it. But because i care about this game so much, I'm very critical. It has potential but I feel like the development team is afraid to let loose. Maybe because of what happened with 1.0. But the way this game is going, they are gonna lose people.

I have supported SE back when they where just Square. I've played many of their games and I know what they are capable off. They are holding the players' hands too much in this game. This is the most linear MMO i have ever played. This shouldn't even be called an "MMO", its a single player game with limited multiplayer aspects. Tell me I'm wrong? I am at home playing ESO more than this game. And that game feels like an MMO. I need SE to get back on track. (And they jacked up my BRD job...AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!)

What are you still doing here then?
If another game fits you more, then stick with that one. Don't bother trying to change anther game to fit you, because others play that game for the things you aren't interested in.
And that other game that you like so much is hated by others who look for other things.

Really Secret? Is that the answer to everything? "Why am I here?" Thats whats wrong with people today. Always giving up or telling someone else to suck it up or leave. I'm here cause I want to be. No one forced me to buy a sub. But just because I'm here doesn't mean i should blindly accept things the way they are. Because i bought my sub and played this game actually entitles me to have an opinion on this game. If everybody just bailed out if they didn't like the game and never complained, you would still be playing 1.0. I'm a consumer like you.

Now I'm not forcing my opinion on anyone, its just an opinion and I'm stating my case as to why i have said opinion. You don't have the right to tell me I should leave cause my opinion doesn't fit yours, just like i wouldn't tell you to leave. Raising questions and concerns is a way to get knowledge about something. I honestly am going to go see what this endgame potion stuff is all about because of this thread. Maybe I learn something, maybe I verify my own thoughts. but telling someone to just go somewhere else is arrogant and counterproductive of the reason for these forums in the first place.

PS- The reason I brought up ESO is because of how they made their game world more interactive between players. Its fun and you don't feel like you are alone playing them game until you queue for a dungeon, like this game. give it a try.

Yes, And I am stating my opinion that I disagreed with your opinion... I didn't say you were forcing your opinion on others either. I am stating the flaws in your opinions. You are free to state the flaws in mine too.

No, I wasn't telling you to go somewhere else. I am suggesting you make yourself happier by doing something you admitted you liked instead of playing something you obviously don't like anymore. Why? Because I have been in that place many times with many MMOs that I liked in the past. Trust me, it's not worth it.

And Secret, I didn't say I didn't like it. Actaully, I said I'm a fanboy. I'm sure i said that. I said I'm worried about this game. I'm very critical of this game, But i never said i didn't like it. I even recently encouraged a friend of mine to go out and buy it. Im saying there are things that I don't like about it. And just because i dislike some things about it doesn't mean I should just go someplace else. If everyone took that to heart, no one would be staying in one place long. And I respect you disagreeing. I like debates, its just that people don't know how to anymore. Its "If you don't like it, leave" or "stop playing". I hate that. Lots of changes were made in this game because of feedback of things players liked and disliked.
