FYI, I didn't accuse the OP or anyone in this thread of intending to abuse the idea of playable children in this way. But it WOULD happen, and that's a good enough reason to not even allow the possibility.

EDIT: By the way, accusing someone who exposes a problem of committing that same action is disgusting, despicable, and repulsive, not to mention irrational and moronic.

That would be like accusing someone who wants to ban/strictly control guns because they are used in murders of being a murderer themselves.
By your logic. We should ban violence. It will never happen if we ban violence.

Also, the first thing you came up with... "was that" can you really blame me?

Not really, a teenager being a hero sounds pretty cool. It is actually quite popular for many books.

I don't want to play anything under 10. However I would love to have a character who is a teenager.

The people who are afraid of it are empowering it. Hysteria and Fear breeds curiosity. Try instead of thinking of the bad things - think of the good things, as a roleplayer I can think of numerous situations where this can help (LEGIT) role-players.

In Star Wars Galaxies, you could mold and create child-like characters if you wanted. Due to how complex the character creation was however they never got any flak for it. That was because it was an option, it wasn't an intended effect, some people most likely DID do bad with it, and did do things like slavery and did things with it. If people "do" do that with them, that is not SEs fault, that is the players. SE cannot be blamed for it, the heroes were intended for a different reason. Unlike games where its intended for you to be the bad guy and kill people. That is why in games like Skyrim you cannot hurt children, but those games also lack teenagers.

Online Interactions are not rated, nore can they ever be.

In the future, please refrain from ever starting a post with "by your logic", because you are clearly incapable of following logic or creating accurate analogies.

Violence in media is not illegal. Children (and the depiction of children) in sexual situations is.
There is no part of the story, any at all. I have done it all, where your character is put in a "sexual" situation. So this isn't an issue. If people "role-play" it, know that role-playing is not a feature of the game. It has nothing to do with the story and it is "not" supported, at all. It is an afterthought. SE cannot be flaked for something that is not a feature of the game. It is a byproduct of players, not SE.

Now, if SE had role-playing as a feature to the game. As in - it was something they developed content for and supported and moderated. That would be an entirely different issue. However, then it would have no story to it at all.

There is no player made content to this game. It is a story-driven MMO.
