SMNs, get used to the current Egis.

SMN straight up does not need new egis lol. Glamours sure, but what exactly would a new egi do? They already have a ranged pet, a melee pet, and a tank pet. You can't have a healing/support pet because that's the SCH niche. If anything SCH should get a third fairy to to match SMN's 3 egis.

I do agree it would be super nice if they added glamours, but honestly after the huge buffs SMN got I really don't think this level of complaining is warranted.

They wasted a whole job skill (the level 30 one) for that 3rd summon. Just swap out adloquium and it should be fine right? Right?

Yoshi P put the glamour idea out there as a proposition, clearly people loved the idea more or less, now they know and are actually putting work into it. Things take time, I don't expect them to negate a bulk of content for 3.1 just so I can summon a ramuh pet. All the same I don't think it'd be too hard to at least give us the carbuncles to start and add new egi glamours gradually through patches. Even cash shop a few if you must. We can't expect it now now now though, we have to wait patiently, my best guess given demand is 3.2 but maybe a glimmer of it in 3.1? Just be patient. They gave SMN a great buff, it may not be a new egi, but we're now out dpsing most everyone including our BLM rivals.

I think it's a matter of missing one word there. "Only". As in "Even if we were only going to change their appearance, we would need to create the effects, sound, and actions for each egi"

I also love how they spit in our faces with the 50+ job quests and how we were supposed to be able to summon new egis.
