    SE's response to monk meditation

    Q18. It's hard to stack up Meditation while moving around inside the dungeon. Do you have plans to add an action where we can stack up to the maximum amount at once?

    A18. While developing, we did consider making it possible to stack up to 5 while not in combat; however, doing this made it where they were able to output strong damage every time for individual fights, therefore, we currently have no plans for this.
    We already do that, its just that its annoying/finger hurting to press it 5 times between every single battle. Please, just push it through for us, I'm tired of jamming meditate constantly between battles.

    just macro this and put it on some stupid unused button and press it once outside of combat. (dont replace your normal meditation button with this)

    I just think it is silly that they keep easing the positionals on dragoon every time they patch this game...

    "At first we thought of adding the reloading feature to the MCH so they would have to reload one bullet every time they wanted to use a skill, but we changed that because it wasn't very fun"

    Funny how they did that for MNK instead :¬|

    Lolwut? You don't think 190 potency loss is a little extreme? Unless you straight up don't get to attack, nin nor mnk loose that much potency for an out of position attack. At least from what I recall off the top of my head. If i'm wrong, please let me know. I'm getting all 3 melee to 60 anyway.

    I mean... they're just making the positionals a little more friendly.

    why would you want them to make it easier? they already changed a few skills and now thats the only thing that makes them semi complicated rather than a afk rotation class

    assuming that the original minute long rotation was something you could actually AFK for and get away with it.


    i would rather them actually add some real complexity then two identical RNG skills that just provide bloated filler. it's sad that i don't get to do my minute-long dance and instead just do the original opener + new skills endlessly.

    Let's be real, are any of the classes that complicated?

    Mnk is easy or was to me ore HW.
    Drgs old rotation wasn't hard, not long really.
    Ninja is just fast paced.
    I don't know blm personally, but I heard it was kind of a joke.
    Brd was dumb easy
    Smn might have been somewhat challenging but idk. ( I don't care for casters).
    Tanking is easy.
    I don't know about healing, I don't play healers.

    Before the initial fix to drg in 2.4, drg was probably the most punishing dps to play. They brought them to mnks level in terms of being out of position in that patch. So instead of wasting tp and not getting your desired bonus effect, now you'd get the effect and just take a hit to your dps.

    What SE did for mnks as far as position potency loss/gain should be the standard for all melee dps. Mnks still have more positionals (which doesn't mean anything to me anyway). Drgs will still go for the positional bonus, but when your forced to throw the attack and can't reach the desired position for said attack, you don't put out a potency that's less than half of the positional bonus potency.

    Because, you know... sometimes being out of position isn't your fault. Especially when you hack a 50/50 shot at it being flank or rear while trying to dodge a mechanic.

    Trick attack loses 160 potency if missed and does not apply its debuff. Sneak attack loses 200 potency.
