People are stating that The class itself is Losing DPS which is Straight up untrue. Saying that it's DPS Without WM is the equivalant of being a BLM only casting scathe?

What are you talking about, the class isn't losing DPS outside of WM? Are you serious? If you are I can eli5 for you. Obviously I was being a tad hyperbolic, but I thought that was obvious. If you're willfully staying out of WM, you're losing DPS by a nice chunk.

If you're in a movement heavy phase, I can almost guarantee dropping WM is a DPS gain during that phase.

I might just be a stupid Dragoon main who doesn't understand The Plight of the Bard but I'm guessing a Bard outside of WM is probably capable of doing higher DPS than BLM in Nevereap final boss (and any new content that has similar movement requirements), though I'd need to see actual parses obviously to confirm that fact.

It's almost like you can mechanically understand a job without having played it. That would be crazy though.
