Flare - transpose - wait for mana tick(1-3 seconds) - Blizzard III(3 seconds) - 2-3s for last mana tick. either cast thunder or blizzard 1 while waiting or blizzard IV if enochian is up - fire III, Thats a long time of doing barely any damageAnd there's still Fire II, hell there's very nice AoE abilities for all the jobs now, I'm not sure why you wouldn't stack.
The 17k ST damage loss from casing Flare on full MP, really? Maybe if you cast flare, hit transpose, do nothing for 15 seconds, cast Fire 3, then jump back in.

Or wait 1-3 seconds for first tick, Thunder II or Blizzard IV (but from full MP Flare, shouldn't need B4), cast Fire III, do a 3x Fire IV 1x Fire AF phase.
1-3 second lost waiting on the first tick, an extra second on the Fire 3 cast, insignificant dps loss on Thunder II, small dps loss from one less Fire IV in rotation, 6k damage loss maximum. If your Flare hits boss and 3 adds that's an overall dps gain.

The only thing i think needs to be changed about BLM is Surecast. I think the spell should go away after you get interrupted, instead of when you use your next spell.
In most runs I have had it feels like they do the same to me when no BLM is present. So it is not just BLM's. It feels like I am always the one targeted as BRD while using WM. It is like SE have built into the game a class stance/skill check to make bosses target those who cannot move without risking a significant DPS loss. In 2.0-2.51 it felt like the bosses generally ignored me quite often but these days it feels like I have the eye of sauron constantly looking at me and throwing most of his ranged AoE's my way while under the WM stance. When I play my monk it feels like he almost never targets me and other than positional movements I can generally just go to town on bosses but just moving once in while to avoid the 360 degree close type AoE's only.
