Ugg I hate overtime work. My static has cleaned Alex already and as of yet the fights in heavensward has not really been hectic for healers. I heard 4th floor was a real eye opener for healing.

It's not hard, but you can't let people hang out at 5k health like you can in a lot of other fights. The boss WILL pick them for laser.
Good King Moogle Mog, Good King Mog! Lord of all the land (kupo)!
Not really it's just people derp on mechanics and make life harder for the Healers. Orbs in DF are a nightmare normally in most good groups one Healer heals the OT as they take all of one set of orbs to the face then the other one the DPS can all take one and get a heal but in DF everyone just rushes the orbs together and all take splash damage so the Healers need to over heal to keep them up.
The last phase you just need to remember to heal yourself when you get the debuff the first couple of ticks are pretty scary and the boss might hit you with something after it so you need to prioritise topping yourself off then the MT for tank busters. All while the DPS are rushing the orbs and all wanting to take a beam so they fight over it. The only other thing Healers need to worry about is the debuff not running into each other or anyone else. It wasn't as much an eye opener as Odin was when it was first released for Healers.

How then do you deal with the orbs when the OT is in Quarantine? This is why we just have the healers take them. Not really it's just people derp on mechanics and make life harder for the Healers.
