First let's start by i quit FFXI around 2009 E3 for FFXIV 2# FFXI can't be obsolet when FFXIV does not even have half of what FFXI had from rise of zilart release.

Once again we can have both or are you that dumb to read my post? you can have your bcnm and other can have HNM why are you trying to limit on what people can do? there such thing as we can have both.

i can care less about about the open boss i be doing the BCNM and such but sometime it nice to do the open boss HNM/NM

Top of that if anything become instance you know what happen everyone in the city /sh looking for party and no one outside beside noobs doing Leves and DOL.

So please listen "WE CAN HAVE BOTH!!!!" or is there something you don't understand? why not have both so when i feel like doing the open boss one i can that better then not having it.

people like you are the reason this game is become junk with your single-minded ideas. We can have both so i can do my BCNM and if i want to do the open boss one day it's there for me or anyone.

I honestly felt like responding to you but I feel most of it will be lost in translation.

(Archaic ideas from XI are not welcome here. If you've read these forums often enough, that would be obvious. Please, don't stain yer pants before they've even had chance to develop a "newer" more "with the times" version of HNM... eh?

lol yeah really, second every ffxi player finally leaves this game is done with. if u ask me we bank rolled this game, and the players who still play it are paying for it to be fixed. i think it deserves to be someone ffxi'ish, and sure as hell not wow'ish. ty.


also the thought of the sandworm made me think of something in how it pulls u into itself, more mobs that pop on a quiker timer that does this could be a cool way to go, turns instance so nm's and shells can't get in each others way after claims, and faster pops where the next nm would pop b4 the other group exits would be awsome, that way other group outside would claim next one. just a thought.

pretty much, this games population or people willing to give it any chance is mostly FFXI players...and the polls way back when were proof of that. Actual quote from the poll:

HNMs SHOULD be in here. Are you forced to do them? no...so don't act like its required. Also With how they do things and learning from FFXI, they would make most of that gear exclusive or "u/u" in this game, so bot farmers have no reason to do them, just shells that want to pimp out their players..a. simple fix to rid of the RMT. Also, seeing as how this game is more casual friendly, i can see the timers not being as long...but they need to be decently long enough so they dont feel common or like every other NM.

100% agree with you on this problem is single minded people are messing up the game. There heads are like this if they add HNM then i'm forced to do it. If they add hardcore events then i'm forced to do it when there still BCNM for them / casual stuff like leves and many other stuff.

This is the issue with people on here they can't get in there head that you can have both in a game.

Nice post! Good job bringing that up.

Also, Fully agree with you regarding RMT/bots, i was just going to suggest that myself, SE can make the important rare drops unique/non-tradeable. That should filter out the wrong bunch and keep it a goal for real players seeking to improve their chars.
