The impression is that the maximum number of accessories equipable will remain (4 rings, two armlets, 2 earings, 1 choker) but that the slot cost for items (ie: silver = 3 points, electrum = 4 points) and maximum slot cost of 12 points would be abolished. But to be sure, only time will tell.
Regarding making a piece of gear ready to be converted into materia...
Yes, you do have to actively wear it. Fight in it etc.
Regarding the Recipe NPC and someone asking "how is this even possible through an NPC?"...
Just wait and see how it all works. Maybe you'll find you'll end up loving the NPC so much, that the menu no longer interests you~ Who knows.
And about the new Mob-claiming...
3) How many mobs can I claim simultaneously? Is there a limit?
My spontaneous guess is that you should only claim as many mobs as you can actually defeat~ But I'll happily pass your question on.
In the quoted post, Enary is asking a number of other questions about claiming with respect to party ranks etc as well, so it's safe to assume Sasunaich is passing all the questions on. Hence the "3)"

Thank you very much for taking the time to do this! ^_^
I am glad to hear responses from other reps and to know how they interact with the community! =O
Thanks a ton for taking the time to do this, Catapult!
I was thinking of starting a similar thread myself (as I speak fluent German), but alas...I'm too lazy and seeing how hard Reinheart works, it seemed like more work than I wanted to put in, haha.
So major props to you!![]()

A few more dev-posts but nothing of import. Just the translation of Yoshi-P's long letter that wasn't a letter about recipe changes. The one with the new metal, Cobalt.
Interesting tidbit though, is that they were calling it "goblin-iron" (Koboldeisen rather than Kobalteisen). Not sure if that is insinuating anything or not.
Also, a topic with two dev-posts where Sasu asks if the General Discussion Dev-tracker is working, which it turns out it is. Nothing new.
Not much new info here, but what the hell.
A small update on the topic of sound. With patch 1.19, you'll be able to adjust the voice and environment sound levels in the configuration menu.
And the next is also known already, but perhaps a little different of an angle on the translation - might be considered to be adding clarity.
A little bit of info on Monster groups (Read: mob-reinforcements): For starters in patch 1.19, all monster types will be able to bind up. However it is planned to change this, so that monsters can no longer transcend races when binding.
Read: Bind = form a party/group, essentially what the English reps are naming a call for reinforcements. I interpret this as confirming that reinforcements will come from already-spawned mobs rather than mobs spawning with the specific purpose of being reinforcements.
This one is with regards to the absence of a postal (mailbox) system.
Today there was annother list about patch 1.20-1.21. Could our dear Sasu ask if it was simply forgotten to be listed or if it simply no longer being planned?

That I can do.![]()
consequence of this post - German community rep is asking a question and we should hear back soon. So follow the hitch-hiker's motto and DON'T PANIC!
