TBH - Scholar is still in a very good place. The biggest 'problems' right now are fairy scaling and the fact that our lvl 60 ability sucks. I mean, I'd like both fixed - but it doesn't make scholar trash or anything. Combined with lustrate change(nerf depending on your feelings) it makes multitasking/DPSing a little harder though.

Added data points for a level 58 SCH to the data sheet. Also added a comparison of an 0 ilvl equal MD / MND / Det 60 WHM versus a 50 WHM as well as an 0 ilvl equal MD /MND / Det 55 SCH versus a 50 SCH.

I'm going to play Devil's Advocate and state the unpopular opinion outright.

True, fairy output is significantly lower when compared to the output the Scholar can bring to the table (Aldo power versus Embrace power at 50 compared to 60)
False, fairy was never weakened during the course of leveling. She only "grew" (shrunk?) by the intended level curve given to her during the inception of the Job.

What actually is happening is the Scholar is getting more powerful as they level. This was different pre-50 when both Scholar and Fairy got slightly weaker on each level. I showed this by showing that a lower level Scholar and Fairy of equal MD / MND / Det to a higher level Scholar and fairy actually outputted a higher Physick / Embrace amount.

Now, the Scholar and White Mage (and by extension, I imagine all the class/jobs) gets stronger as they level past 50, as shown by the fact that a 0ilvl 60 WHM (or 55 SCH) has more power than a 0 ilvl 50 WHM (or 50 SCH) with equal MD / MND / Det.

Why this doesn't occur with the Fairy? Who's to say - for all we know this could be a rather severe oversight on S-E's part and didn't realize they missed the part about the Fairy needs a level curve too.

I'll probably end up putting a bug report up to this effect some time in the near future and see what the "response" is.

Sorry if I scared you =p My intent wasn't to scare new players / Scholars off. Instead, I was to trying to determine why the Fairy doesn't seem to scale properly in a post 50+ environment and see if other theorycrafters can find anything amiss with my logic / testing methodology.

Scholar is still in a really good spot at this time and the only real complaint I have about the Job would be Dissipation.

Your numbers. From lvl 15-50 it scales at constant rate according to level( i.e. it's scaling). What you believe you are seeing there is not a negative trend. Then from 50-60, Embrace strength remains fixed at constant value while sch heal strentgh scales according to level.

This just shows that the fairy heal is not scaling from lvl 50 onwards.
