    It was suggested in another thread that Shelltron may serve us better as a damage shield against physical damage for 20% of our hp.
    The issue with it is timing. Unless the tank buster has a long cast time, or you know EXACTLY when it will hit, an autoattack could eat your forced block... Which just sucks.

    If they are set on it being a blocking effect, make it a bit like Warrior's Raw Intuition, where you block all attacks from the front for 3 (maybe 6) seconds. That way the effect is more or less the same, but it will not be eaten by something weak if you use it early... Think Titan's MBs which are instant with an autoattack before and after.

    Sheltron - First off the ability is amazing. No increased cooldown as the mana regeneration is amazing. It creates the opportunity for us to use other abilities than the Riot Blade/Flash that we were almost bound to, for threat on increasingly large pulls pre hw. We can now use Flash + RoH combo and still regen mana. Or if you have a good threat lead RA combo with flash.

    Royal Authority - I use this ability all the time. I haven't had any issues with threat once I upgraded my weapon and it gets used liberally. From an off tanking perspective it is also incredibly beneficial when I am not trying to build enmity but do damage. I don't see any change needing to be added.

    Divine Veil - I still don't fully understand this ability.

    Clemency - Yes on the reduced cast time. Feels longer than every other healing ability out there.

    Goring Blade - Again something I use liberally but happy it combos off of a mana builder for the exact same reason as Sheltron. It lets me use flash more while applying a nice potency ability to each enemy.

    The CD is fine, remember it also gives mana!

    You are missing the point of this skill. We didn't have a DPS combo in 2.x and were the epitome of 1-2-3 with RoH. I absolutely would NOT want them to make this an emnity builder. If we are secure on hate, we can now dish out some more damage; this is especially true as OT where we don't want to be spamming our main emnity building combo anyways.

    Divine Veil's shield uses the Tank's HP, not the Healer's. Only thing I'd like to see with this is removing the trigger or allowing us to proc it with Clemency or even Cure.

    You activate it and get a buff called "Divine Veil". If you receive a healing spell from another player, you lose that buff and all the guys around within a radius of 15 yalms* will get a shield similar to adloquium for 30 seconds. The damage that shield reduces, it's 10% of your max HP. So, if you have 15k HP, that shield will mitigate 1.5k. It stacks with Adlo and Stoneskin. It's very useful and I can see it as an important skill in future raid content, because of the raid-wide damage. If anything, I would reduce its cd to 120.

    *(10 less than Flash, the same distance than cover, so they better stack for it)

    I don't think Paladins need or really have any reason to get further changes.
    Flash spam + CoS has always been enough to keep aoe hate (in my experience 2.0-2.55), Shelltron on a lower cooldown would almost be abuse worthy (especially if we have a lot of physical, single hit tank busters in 3.0, or even multi hit), Clemency is a great cool down for OT paladins who will have a lot of mana from gore blade, Divine Veil gives paladins a permanent place in all progression raiding if there are the teraflares and gigaflares of eld.

    Only thing I somewhat agree with is RA being pretty vanilla, but then again it's a paladin. No one said they were super intensive like drk or even war. You just get shit done calmly and efficiently. I'd almost rather it came off of Gore Blade so there is less enmity generation as OT, but what cha gonna do?

    Clemency deserves to be an instant cast that still causes a global cool down to occur. It's insane MP cost is highly inefficient, and it's scaled with Strength, which means most of you Fending kiddies won't get a powerful heal out of it anyway. =P
    But the thing is, I get interrupted when trying to use it in the few situations where it would have made a huge difference to my group.
    Not to mention it in fact takes up just over 1/3rd of out MP pool, we need to use Riot Blade twice to get a 3rd cast out, or burn sheltron when we don't specifically want to.
    Making it into a spell similar in usage to Energy Drain would make perfect sense for a Main Tank ability.

    Funny tip about clemency.Its a spell and putting spellspeed on your tank reduces its cast.


    That should be obvious, but its bizarre since its a JOB spell on a job that will never have spellspeed on its gear.


    I think for this move they should change it to be a decreased cast from skillspeed.
