Pushed my PLD to lvl 60 within the first 3 days of HW.
Use to be my main but then I went healer now back again as my main for 3.0 and loving all the new additions, just a few minor changes I'd like to see in the future.
CoS- This is are only AoE generating attack and I feel its the weakest in comparison to the WARs and DRKs of the world. What would make this ability more effective is if it was stance based.
I'm not necessarily against gettign an additional AOE attack, BUT Pld has no problem holding aoe aggro against dds and healers and losing to another tank in one department is not that bad i think (remember we are playing as Teams not against each other even if it feels like that sometimes).
That said while i wouldn't be against an AOE attack I would rather have additional Support and migitation skills (yeah i'm a sucker for new Paladin toys^^)
Shield Oath- Adds extra enmity per tick , whilst
Not sure what you mean here extra enmity for DOTs? or something else?
Sword Oath- Adds extra damage potency. Further increasing it from what its normal damage out put was
We already get extra enmity and it already puts us in a pretty god place as ot i think, if you want to add more potency then how much? 10 per attack? 20 per attack? Keep in mind that even something like 10% more potency or 5% more dmg can be a lot
Sheltron - I like the ability but I think it should negate the next physical attack and on a higher CD. ( That's just me , dont attack lol )
Negating one attack sounds pretty neat^^. But could be way to powerfull as alot of tank Busters a physicall and negating them means a lot (I sometimes blind Titan hm before he does mountain buster and he misses 66% of his buster then even if it is random it helps a lot but that doesn't work on most bosses).
Also i think sheltron works so nice with shield swipe ad Tower shields that I wouldn't want to miss it. Before that I would always avoid towers for balanced shields now it seems like a waste to not use towers.
Royal Authority- Potency is nice but come on this our LVL 60 OUR ULTIMATE OUR DEVASTATION move but yet no extra effects , and no enmity builder .....please fix this ....do something , make it a ACC down on the target or something lol not just damage, SO BORING
I absolutely agrre with this one, when i got my last skill at 60 i was so lets see what i got (having high expectations ftrom the rest of the skills): "oh high potency.. good... another finisher.. very good.... no effect...." *sits in a corner and sulks*
No seriously that skill is ok, devinitly a positive Addition... it's just a bit boring especially (as you said) as our lvl 60 skills which were normally some Kind of ultimate (example holy ground at 50 or flare for Black mage)
Divine Veil - This is not an AoE cover for ppl who call it that , it's pretty much an AoE Stoneskin at 10% of the healers HP which I think should be changed to the tanks HP unless I've tested this wrong ...... I'm still confused on the ''caster'' portion of the ability tip , can someone help me out here. If it is the casters HP (meaning the person who healed you) CAN WE PLEASE use Cure on ourselves to make this work

and make it 20% just because a Tanks cover should be more than a healers...... biased
I'm 100% sure it is our hp, for a simple reason: I'm playing in german and our tooltip says(rough Translation) "...dmg for 10% of your hp is migitated...", but yeah i think we should be able to Trigger it oursleve. When i got it i imideatly tried if crossclasing cure would be usefull now.. of course it isn't and with clemecy even less.
Clemency - Shorter cast timer would be nice , its very very very situational and unable to squeeze in crucial moments when you can save lives and help healers on MP issue (plus it generates hate)
i actually like that one, used it for example when healers just raised someone or if they are out of mana (healing 8k hp with two cast or more when it crits is quit good), also as weird as it sounds it makes 8/4 man runs with only Paladins possible which will be quit fun.
Goring Blade - Perfect ability nothing more to change here , it would be nice if it came off an enmity builder, but shield swipes makes this a viable option mid pulls
I love it since getting Paladin to 50 i always wondered where our second finisher vanished to, but i disagree on the enmity we were in dire need of an Rotation without any enmity at all and now we have it
