Ways to fix BRD and MCH in a realistic way

You mean the mana song that healers would rather do without once they've learned the timing of the fight? Or did you mean the tp song which no melee needs once they learn how to manage Invigorate? Or did you just mean the magic damage+ song which only effects half the dps in your party, at best, for a limited time?

When are you, and everyone else who seems unable to do anything else but mindlessly quote these incorrect and inaccurate fallacies, going to pull their heads out of their @$$'s and realize that song's aren't the only reason BRD and MCN exist? When was the last time you failed a pull and said, "Damn, I wish we had a TP song going then. We would've cleared it for sure."

Melee needs a TP song if the boss is a punching bag like The Avatar or Kaylia with no downtime. The thing is, current content has none of those bosses. And I'll vouch for this, you're certainly not hitting the enrage timer if melee is getting TP starved during the boss.

One way they can fix MCH? Boost the damage bonus from GB. There's absolutely no reason a full-time GB barely pulls ahead (and I'm talking 1-3% more dps here, under the absolute perfect circumstances, like a target dummy) of not using GB at all.

This is the majority of the issue, using GB/WM 100% uptime has no damage boost. 20% damage boost for loss of auto-attack is a neutral move, and you lose mobility when you do it. Just like every other job in the game, building your rotation around using the new skills as much as possible isn't optimal.

So.. what then? We're supposed to just toggle it on and off every 20 seconds to use the skills that require it and refresh that fast?
The amount of downtime generated by toggling the stupid thing on and off is staggering.

Uh just a few days ago when our healer ran out of MP in a fight I literally said this as I was playing foes instead, then the attempt where I ballad here and there = win and I also said it that time when my group did a big pull and the healer's mp went dry as they healed the pull! Oh and that one time.... nah I think you get it.... >_>

I do however play foes whenever I am with a healer or caster unless the heals change to CS even once as there are heals who still do DPS and help take stuff down faster.

And if you haven't noticed, a few heals have been running out of MP a bit faster since around lvl 51.

As far as TP goes, it's not needed right now because there is no real TP stress fight atm, All we have is two EX primals right now. Two primals who I may add yes, need a dps check but if you have ninjas hey they can goad each other and mnks should be able to restore their TP more now.

When Alexander comes, we'll see how much they can supply themselves and if SE feels it's to the point where bard isn't needed for a thing then it'll be tweaked.
