Vitality until your healers know the fight and you are comftorable with busters (if you are new to tanking, you have not seen this. Neither current EX fight has one really. Prepare your bodies for this come Alexander, as its the staple of SE Raidis).

Once you are at that point, you can go strength.

Also I believe your MP returns are flat, not scaled off strength, unless you have blood weapon on (which you wont have on unless you are off tanking anyways). Your siphon blade restores a % of your MP (i think, 9%, same as riot blade).

I've used food, Blood Weapon, and have gotten The Balance thrown on me by an Astrologian in a level 50 dungeon, none of which have seemingly changed how much it gives back. It seems to be level scaled from what I can tell, like the MP heal on Aetherflow.

Str more dps is more hate and more mana returns from dmg abilities. Harder you hit the the bigger the MP return. Weaker you hit the less you make..

MP Return is a flat % of base MP for your level. The only thing that differs mp return at level 60 is your race.

Aetherflow is scaled after max MP. The more MP you have the more it will return.

Huh, never noticed it until now. I guess it was the minimal max MP changes between the various patches that prevented me from seeing it.

aetherflow says right inside of the skills info section that it returns 20% of your mana on use...
