    You can get one Law ring, upgrade it to ilvl 180 with Centurio seals, and then buy another ilvl 170 ring of the same time and wear both of them. The ilvl 180 counts as a different "unique" ring.

    The ilvl 180 gears don't have the same name as the ilvl 170 gear. That's why.

    Except that, in all honesty is a waste of seals, unless you were capping, you can never upgrade that ring and and will end up replacing it anyway, you're better off getting the 160 rings and leaving it there untill better rings come out. as you won't notice a difference anyway.
