As they are now, Dark Knight "can" perform in the role it was created for; they can tank (I won't argue about being better or worse than the other tanks, that's already been covered). Eventually SE will tweak things that need tweaking, so the forum posts are useful (not saying don't post), but there shouldn't be a need to act like the job will have these flaws forever.

Regardless of changes, regardless of which tank is better on paper in any instance, a lot of the gameplay relies on the player's knowledge and ability to play the job. You will still have paladins that excel, and others that stink, and yet others who are average. That being the case, you will also likely play with dark knights who run content better than other tanks you've played with, even now.

Yes, I realize i'm only a level 52 dark knight, which is why i'm not commenting on class deficiencies etc. However, I realize that as I play and get used to the 16 keybinds on my mouse I suck less and less every day I play.

Even if a dark knight is squishier, as long as he's not squishier because he's being dumb, shouldn't a healer view that as an opportunity to show off his/her skill? Perhaps i'm viewing this in the wrong light, but if the game was totally easy and required no skill to play, what would be the point of playing it? I'd rather just play a mobile phone game in that case.

You're failing to realize the Paladin and Warrior both have niches they can fill and a purpose. One does something better than the other. The DRK has no real edge.
