I'm sure Iceheart will be back. She's an echo user, and can become a Primal (nevermind taking a sword to the chest and barely being injured facing ravana). When and how are the real unknowns...

I was actually wondering that as well - if the heretics summoned Shiva, would that bring back Ysayle? Even just temporarily.
Haurchefant is dead forever, following the "there is a body" rule. At least the last thing he saw in this world was the hero he loved.![]()
Except that if they summoned her back, it wouldn't be the same person. Even the Shiva Ysayle summoned was just an idealized version of what she thought the person was.
Why didn't she snap her fingers while fighting the ship. /cry

Do you all think Haurchefant was in love with our character? regardless of sex.

Yes, yes he was. He was, as I've heard, "herosexual." He was in love with the player character because they were a hero. Since this is a role playing game, it was up to you to determine whether your character reciprocated or not.

She's about as dead as you are when you die to a random mob in the field. If anyone bothered to note...Ysayle has the Echo just as you do, and in prior patches, Levithan's specifically, we learn that the Echo grants you a kind of immortality not unlike the Ascians. Further, we learn from Y'shtola that you can wander the aether and live. Now, Y'shtola is doomed to die for her journey as she's just a miqo'te but someone possessing the Echo, like the Ascians, can freely traverse the aether and eventually come back to life. Whether or not Ysayle will is up in the air, but if we can do it then so can she.
Oh, no, he was totally eager to get in our business. If you were around for the Year of the Horse Heavensturn you'd know the depths of that 'need'.
