So are there any real numbers yet that we can use to start a real discussion about OT dps or is this thread still about OMG FELL CLEAVE(!!!)?
It seems your tiny lalafell muscles aren't keeping up, real warriors are hitting for millions already some hermits in the hinterlands even claim the biggest roegadyns they've seen are in the tens of millions when they crit oneshotting the server clusters and winning the game.
Hahaha i lost itNah, 25k is like the minimum. I did a 500k Fell Cleave in T5 on Asclepius w/ 20 stacks from the extra snakes that spawned, a Nidhogg STR Potion (HQ), Fried Chocobo Legs w/ Sides (HQ), Berserk, Fight or Flight, Sword Oath, IR, Unchained, Blood for Blood, and Raging Strikes.
Did they fix that bug? Otherwise, I'm pretty sure Benediction doesn't work. Both PLD and DRK have vastly superior "OH S***" buttons, Holmgang was a mistake and has always been nothing but trash. Meanwhile PLD have always had Hallowed Ground and now DRK shows up with Living Dead which is even better as long as your healer knows where his Benediction button is.
Yea for Holmgang to have gone untouched all of 2.x, and now with the Living Dead having the advantage of longer duration but greater (and 99% more likely) risk/punishment - honey SE don't care
90% of times I Living Dead / Holmgang and not died, it's b/c I didn't need either in the first place,
Holmgang is still pretty sweet in PvP though, and both still serve well enough for coordinated raiding,
PUG though it's thin ice relying on them
It's not a bug. People don't understand how it works. The DRK needs receive heals that total up to his full HP. NOT be healed to his maximum HP. This way the DRK can keep getting hit and never reach fully-healed status but still lose the death-debuff.
That's why Bene alone doesn't work. It's always going to be at least one HP short.
Serious response, not sure if I said this on fights I'm roughly 75-80% of a DPS as an OT in full STR gear. Considering in pre echo Final Coil I would be 430-460 on T10 400+ on T12 and 360-400+ (lowest runs 320) on T13 where other DPS were in the 550-600 range our damage relative to where other DPS is roughly the same. This is before factoring in the fact that we now have deliverance and fell cleave. I thought with these new tools we'd actually close the gap a bit more but it seems even with our tools were still roughly in the same spot. Relatively to everyone's upgrade we haven't gotten stronger or weaker we've stayed the same. The only class right now below the curve is MCH/BRD which looks like it's getting a second look at as that is seriously needed.
DRK suffers from issues but its not because of a WAR or PLD that they suffer from them. It's because of the classes innate design that makes it run out of goddamn TP so quick that needs to be adjusted. Giving a TP starved class a skill speed buff on such a short cooldown without any means to recover the TP is garbage. DRK has so much more potency than WAR to make up for maim in addition to dark side and so many off GCDs

Yup, I heard the same, apparently warriors can deal 850+ dps stable while I struggle to do above 700 on DRK lol. And some DPS jobs struggle to go above 850 at all ahah
This is relevant:

Ive seen our static WAR pump out 3k DPS on packs without a sweat in the level 60 dungeons. Whereas running the same dungeons on PLD is a helluva lot slower because of that.
