Just hop back to the Northern Thanalan FATEs. The area to traverse is much smaller and they have Dark Devices and Boss monster encounters which throw in some nice XP.

So far I haven't seen anyone out in the world at all. I'm at level 11 on my lancer and have yet to see another human being outside the gates. The game is insanely empty, not to mention mob respawn time is STUPIDLY FAST!!!! I can't even finish killing things before more respawn because once you have threat on one for some stupid reason your aggro radius is a mile and a half. It's getting frustrating having to wait for FATES to despawn because they're not soloable and I'm the only human being in the zone.

Tbh the new fates are crap atm for 2 reasons.
They take too long to kill and dont give enough exp.
Simple as that. They dont even scale down so a single person can kill them easily if theres low traffic in the area.
Tbh afink they gave the mobs higher HP because people moaned that it was too easy in ARR but tbh ARR's setup was fine. Making mobs harder to kill doesnt relly make the game harder only more annoying. The only exception to this is if mobs give significantly more reward for the increased challenge.
stop with " but there is armory", people like me are allready leveling 2nd or 3rd classes and there is a reason why nobody goes to HW fates.
They give around 14k base xp, take ages to finish. the yxp is around half a sidequest for the new fates, some even only give 8k!
NT gives more xp and is quicker as well, and the distances are short even if you take flying into consideration.
People do NT because its the best fate xp, they dont do HW because they are useless, armory or not
maybe you are on a low pop server because normally you should see people every 10 seconds, seriously. So far I haven't seen anyone out in the world at all. i see so many green leaves(new guy) players in those areas, i cant cast my buffs on them all.
I think it's crazy anyone even does FATEs anymore, even in NT. They give almost no XP compared to what you need.
Dungeons are by far the best XP now by a huge margin. I suppose FATEs are alright if you're a DPS queuing for a dungeon, but they shouldn't be used as primary anyway.
The real reason that everyone does NT is simply that it's easy to congregate and get to a lot of FATEs easily. The new HW zones are far too large and the FATEs too spread out. The FATEs really aren't any more difficult. I did some FATEs with my wife in West Coerthas last night and they were very easy, no worse than a FATE in NT.
I'm on Cactaur, I wanted to play on other servers with friends but nearly every server in the game minus ghost town servers are full and not accepting character creation. So I'm stuck on the North Dakota of game servers. There's people, just not outside of the cities.
They're all dead. Zones are empty and worthless. Fix this or get rid of them.
