They probably just sealed her so she isn't a threat. Too smart to be brain jacked.I'm actually quite curious as to what thay're doing with Tiamat?
Yeah, she's bound for eternity, but is that all? Is it some sick form of Allagan punishment they've inflicted on her for being the one to summon primal bahamut? I would think that they'd place a mind-control device on her.
I think they allude to Tiamat being able to break free. Midgardsormr asks her why she has not forgiven herself yet, possibly implying that she could break free and live a normal life. Tiamat herself does not wish to as she regrets allowing the Allagans to use her sorrow to create a poor reincarnation of her beloved Bahamut. She says that this is her own punishment, and she'll atone here until the world itself ends.
I think Tioman is, or rather was, Nidhogg's lover. Once she is defeated, her dying words are along the lines of, "I'm sorry my beloved". And if that is themcase then she is part of Nidhogg's brood but as his mate not his sister, although...?
Anyway, seeing as how she is merely a boss and has no story tie ins, I don't think she is one of the 7. I do think Vidofnir could be one of the 7, but I have no proof only a feeling. Though, her name does have a similar motif to the others. And, she also bears a resemblance similar to one of the 7 children in the artwork.

I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.
Vidofnir is Hraesvelgr's daughter, not Midgardsormr's. She herself refers to Hraesvelgr as "father" during the main story.
Lol Vdofnir is Hraesvelgr's dauther, did you skiped cutesenes or what? xDI think Tioman is, or rather was, Nidhogg's lover. At first I thought Tiamat was the dragon on the bottom because of the horns and black/dark coloration, but after realizing the one on bottom didn't have the face spikes it makes me think that either they changed Tiamat's color after that piece of concept art was made or that its because of the light around her and/or some effect of being bound by those rings.
Dont think on the colors of the concept art, thats irrelevantAt first I thought Tiamat was the dragon on the bottom because of the horns and black/dark coloration, but after realizing the one on bottom didn't have the face spikes it makes me think that either they changed Tiamat's color after that piece of concept art was made or that its because of the light around her and/or some effect of being bound by those rings.
Tiamat doesn't particularly want to be set free, given the dialogue. Her primary regret was consulting with the Ascians, servants of Darkness, of which she and her kin probably knew were bad news; but the death of her mate made her desperate, so she took in their aid and the end consequence was thrusted into Dalamud alongside many of her children.I think they allude to Tiamat being able to break free. The Allagans were one thing, but to willingly consult with the Ascians is another, especially given that many of the older dragons seem to have known of them and their general ill intentions throughout time. The Ascians help "bring" back her "mate," but also taught the Allagans how to restrain him.

Its possible that Shinyru could be one of his sons as well..Its also possible that Midgardsomr came from another dimension. As for the eldest to youngest (From the one's we know of) are;
- Bahamut
- Tiamat
- Hresvlgar or Nidhogg (Cant make up my mind on this one)
- Ratatoskr
