Like I said, the shield is so bad. The hots from Diurnal are way better. Yeah you saved them... you could have save them aswell in diurnal.

I healed and kileld both bismarck ex and ravana ex with a whm while in diurnal stance. The stackings hots are way too good to pass. If there is a fight where you really need shields.. just take a scholar. Ast is never ever gonna be taken for its nocturnal sect. It's just that bad.

Not only does it not stack with SCH's shields, the shiels cannot crit...

Diurnal >>>>>>>>>>> Nocturnal.

The 5% increase potency is great and dandy, but it does not make up for the hots or the increased cast speed.

I honestly have to agree.
Why don't you use Nocturnal Sect when you're with a SCH? Because shields don't stack.
Why don't you use Dirunal Sect when you're with a WHM? Because that seems intuitive, but it's also kind of wrong.
