In any case, your posting--it opens up your points to criticisms, for which there are many. In 2.0 war and paladin OT damage was neck and neck even onto t13 (blue gatr posts on this). Wars put up pretty numbers, Paladins smaller numbers are much stronger. In 3.0 wars gained an offensive stance and stack usage, paladins got 340 and 540 potency attacks. So far according to Xeno (a VERY well known warrior and mechanic theorist) pal single target dps more or less seems on par with war as OT. Flashy? Heck no! But paladin isn't a flashy class (unless you are doing an AoE pull--hue hue hue).
